- Learning how to park a car in a parallel parking situation isn’t hard. The first thing you need to do is pull up to the car that will be in front of your new Toyota. You should then line up the rear bumpers.
- The next step that you need to do is making sure you’re not going to hit the car behind you when you’re reversing. Reverse with the wheel sharply turned towards the curb. This will allow you to lineup appropriately when parking your car!
Once you’re lined up, you can move on to parking. When your car’s bumper is 45 degrees to the curb, carefully straighten your car while you continue to be in reverse. Once you’re in the spot, you’re going to need to continue to straighten out. One thing to remember: ALWAYS straighten your Toyota before you put it in park!
