This weekend has come up fast, are you ready for Father’s day? This has been a very hard week for everyone in Orlando. If you have forgotten to make plans for Father’s day don’t worry; the team at our Orlando Toyota dealership has found some adventures you can take Dad on this weekend. Our city of Orlando needs a little cheering up. Check out all the exciting things that the whole family can partake in!
Orlando City Soccer Game
Our own Orlando City Lions are taking on San Jose this Saturday. Celebrate your city pride and Dad by going to the soccer game. This is a special one because Orlando City has dedicated it to #OrlandoUnited. The Lions take on San Jose Earthquakes at our very own Camping World Stadium. There will be shirts sold to raise money for the City of Orlando’s OneOrlando Fund. You can also purchase posters for a $5 donation. Ticket donations will go toward first responders and support services. There will be special in-stadium programming and content and a live in game moment of silence to recognize those we have lost.
If your dad likes beer take him to our city’s very own brewery. They offer free tours of the brewery at 6 P.M. Celebrate with $2 off their brewing beers on tap for every dad! They are also giving away a free gallon growler when you purchase a gallon fill. This is the perfect way to celebrate for the dad that loves his brew!
If your father is more of a wine drinker take him to check out the beautiful Lakeridge Winery in Clermont. They offer a free wine tour and tasting. This 127-acre estate was once the center of Florida’s grape industry and it’s now one of the largest wineries in the state.
This Sunday celebrate Father’s day by taking him to see exotic animals at the Brevard Zoo. They’re offering free admission to all dads accompanied by at least on paying child of any age! They’ll be open from 9:30 A.M. to 5 P.M. Take the train with dad on a safari to see the wild life of the African Safari. Take pictures of Dad feeding the friendly giraffe or the swarms of birds in the aviary. They also offer special encounters with animals including Rhinos, Lemurs, and more! You can take him on Paddle boats or Kayaking for a relaxing Father’s day.
Harry P. Leu Gardens
If Dad has have had a hard week, take him to the calming garden that border Lake Rowena. This Sunday they are offering free admission for all dads. The 50 acre botanical garden is filled with stunning flowers and beautiful butterflies. While you’re there visit the Leu House Museum, a 1880’s restored home listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
We hope your dad has a wonderful Father’s day and he enjoys wherever you take him. As always please have a designated driver if there will be drinking and stay safe!
