Celebrate the 4th of July at a theme park
Independence Day at Walt Disney World
If you’re fine with large crowds, you should celebrate Independence Day at Walt Disney World! In addition to enjoying your favorite foods and attractions in areas like Frontier at the Magic Kingdom and the American Pavilion at EPCOT, you’ll be treated to special firework performances at three out of the four parks. These include “Disney’s Celebrate America! – A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky” at the Magic Kingdom, and a special July 4th fireworks presentation at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
And if you’re wondering if you have to pay extra for these events, you don’t! They’re included in your regular park admission.
Independence Day at Universal Orlando Resort
Universal Studios’ “Universal 360: A Cinesphere Spectacular” will showcase some of your favorite patriotic moments in cinema history accompanied with fireworks, lasers, and more to bring the movies to life!

Red Hot & Boom
Even though this is technically being celebrated on July 3rd this year, if you want to enjoy live music from some of your favorite musicians, Red Hot & Boom is the place to be. Hosted by XL 106.7 and The City of Altamonte Springs is bringing their critically acclaimed celebration back again with an artist lineup that includes Austin Mahone and Hey Violet. While listening to this year’s performers, be sure to check out all the food vendors that will be placed around Cranes Roost Park!
Celebrate the Fourth of Jul-Eye on The Coca-Cola Orlando Eye
Looking for something that isn’t just fireworks? The Coca-Cola Orlando Eye will be transforming into red, white and blue in celebration of our country’s independence and flag. There will be a DJ and activities in the I-Drive 360 courtyard from 6:30-11 p.m.
Why not make an entire day out of this holiday? In addition to taking a trip on the Orlando Eye, you can visit the Madame Tussauds Wax Museum and SEA LIFE Orlando Aquarium for a three-attraction ticket for $49.
Fireworks at the Fountain
Lake Eola will be hosting their 40th annual Fireworks at the Fountain with festivities beginning at 4 p.m. In addition to seeing a fantastic display of fireworks at Orlando’s famous fountain, you’ll be able to enjoy activities for children, live music, and plenty of food and beverages available for purchase.
